Mr. Dalton has advised clients on regulatory requirements of manufacturing and selling alcoholic beverages, including the following:

• Advising on the Department of the Treasury’s Tax and Trade Bureau licensing system.

• Advising on federal, state and local licensing processes and requirements to develop breweries, distilleries and associated alcoholic beverage serving facilities.

• Advising on Tax and Trade Bureau requirements to relocate existing distilleries both within state and across state lines.

• Led the acquisition of a micro-distillery, including negotiating the purchase and sale agreement, conducting operational due diligence, and transferring a Distilled Spirits Plan license and state distiller’s license to manufacture from seller to buyer, and closing activities.
